I get asked about my routine more than almost anything else I do — probably because a founder’s day sounds like it should be chaotic, and mine mostly isn’t. It’s the same shape most days, on purpose. Building RAj Ecosystem hasn’t rewarded the days I felt most inspired. It’s rewarded the days I showed up anyway, at the same time, doing the same non-negotiables, whether I felt like it or not.

Why I bother writing this down

Consistency has mattered more to me than perfection. I don’t hit every part of this every single day. What I protect is the shape of it — wake time, breathing, training, food, sleep — because the shape is what compounds.

The full day

About 500ml of water first, then freshening up. A few minutes before I touch anything else, just to arrive mentally before the day starts moving. More on this in Why I Wake Up at 4:50 AM.

Five minutes: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4. Full detail in My Navy SEAL Box Breathing Routine.

Warm-up, dumbbell work, core, stretching — form and consistency over heavy weight. Full breakdown in My Workout Routine.

250ml milk, 20–30g chana sattu, one banana.

Four boiled eggs.

Roti or rice, with sabzi.

Dal, rice or roti, sabzi, salad.

Peanuts, roasted chana, and whatever fruit is in season.

Dal or paneer, soya chunks, rice or roti, sabzi.

A glass of warm milk before winding down.

Recovery isn’t optional — it’s where the training and the work day actually pay off. More in My Health Philosophy.

The full nutrition and diet picture

Everything above is deliberately simple, whole food, and budget-friendly — no supplements chasing marginal gains, no complicated meal prep. My protein target sits around 90–100g a day, and I aim for 3 to 4 litres of water. The complete reasoning and full food list is in My Budget-Friendly Diet Plan.

How this connects to how I work

The same discipline that runs this schedule runs my actual workday — how I sequence tasks, protect focus blocks, and decide what gets my attention first. That’s covered separately in My Productivity System, and in My Morning Routine specifically for how the first two hours set up everything after.

Closing thought

None of this is extreme. It’s not built to impress anyone — it’s built to survive a year, then another one, without falling apart. Discipline over motivation, consistency over perfection, and a long-term view of health rather than a short-term one. That’s the whole philosophy, covered in full in My Health Philosophy.
